Hi & Hello

I'm Heather, and I am a flight attendant for a major US airline currently living in Chicago. I love skincare, la Croix, girl power, turtlenecks, plants, arts and crafts, and above all experiencing new things. 

Layover Takeover is a series of 24 - 48 hour travel guides highlighting the must sees and dos in a given city, while being budget conscious. As a flight attendant, I am only in cities for a short period of time. Therefore, I’ll be sharing the food, shops and activities that I loved (and also the jet lagged mistakes I made along the way!) After eight years of flying, I have gained quite a bit of travel knowledge, whether that be best airport eats, packing tips, or navigating foreign grocery stores.
